Upcoming Spring/Summer Classes
 

Due to popular demand and curious inquiries, I will be offering 2, two-day workshops this spring. These workshops are held in my Cataumet Studio and are informal, informative and fun. Classes are small to ensure a fun, relaxed atmosphere for students to explore and develop their own individual creativity. Lots of guidance is provided.
 
Workshop #1 – Introduction to Mosaics
  • Date: TBA
  • Hours: Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday 9am - 1pm
  • Class Fee: $250. Includes all materials and use of studio tools.
  • Class requirements: Enrollment: Max 8 Min 6
    No previous experience necessary

This workshop is designed for beginners and/or those who would like to freshen up their beginner skills. Each class is a hands-on workshop in which students develop their own individual creativity and create a one-of-a-kind mosaic. Included is a complete overview of mosaics containing information covering various techniques as well as a wide range of materials, grouts and adhesives, sources for materials and substrates?
Mosaic classes are kept small (sign up early!) to ensure a fun, relaxed, no pressure atmosphere and so that everyone receives individualized instruction.

Workshop #2 “Green” Mosaics
  • Date: TBA
  • Hours: Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday 9am - 1pm
  • Class Fee: $250. Includes all materials and use of studio tools.
  • Class requirements: some mosaic experience – email or call if you have questions about “mosaic experience”.
All you have to do
is sign up, show up
and lets “go green”!
Yes, you can choose the color green for your mosaic materials for this workshop, but this “green” indicates creating a mosaic using a substrate and mosaic materials that have been destine for discarding. Recycling!!! You will be able to choose from my collection of small, used objects: frames, sconces, candlesticks, shelves etc.
